A digital experience encouraging teamwork to explore the lore of Den of Wolves, the upcoming game from 10 Chambers. To keep the community engaged during the game development process, this immersive experience took the form of a hacking tool hidden within the teaser page. A range of single and multiplayer puzzles acted as tools to decrypt content and lore from Den of Wolves, encrypted using custom WebGL shaders. PETSCII art was used alongside a brutalist palette to create a visual world closer to real-world hacking tools than the glossy interfaces of Hollywood movies.

For the design of the Den of Wolves experience I really wanted to create something that felt authentic, inspired by real-world hacking tools. I established strict visual constraints for the palette, typography, PETSCII illustrations, motion and even icons. Not everyone will notice the smaller details but my aim was to reward those that do.
