Project information
As Fortnite evolved into a broader ecosystem for playing, creating, and discovering experiences, its visual language and interface patterns needed to scale with a growing set of surfaces and teams. Jacob led the design work to define a refreshed visual direction and a cohesive UI framework that helped unify the experience across key touchpoints.
The effort emphasized immersion, scalability, and accessibility across PC and console, in close collaboration with UX/UI designers, engineering, motion and audio, VFX, product, and research. The result was a robust design system and component approach designed to support consistent, high-quality experiences as the product continued to expand.
